Introduction
AfriKonnect ("we", "us") operates a business directory serving the African community in Germany. We are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Data we collect
When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and profile picture. Business owners provide business details. We store reviews you write and businesses you favourite. We record anonymised engagement events (profile views, contact clicks) to help business owners understand performance.
Legal basis
We process personal data on the basis of your consent and our legitimate interest in operating the directory. Marketing consent is always requested separately from account creation.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data at any time. To exercise these rights, or to delete your account, contact privacy@afrikonnect.example.

Data retention & security
